The Educational Register is the oldest free guide to independent schools and camps. Published annually by VincentCurtis since 1941 and available since 1996 on the Web, it has been serving parents as a helpful source of information about independent education for over 70 years.

Recently redesigned to increase search engine optimization, our website produces nearly a million hits a year from parents worldwide looking for independent schools and summer programs, making it one of the most highly ranked Internet sources of its kind.

Representation on our website is limited by intent. Over the years the editors have traveled widely in North America and Europe visiting most of the schools and camps represented. We are able to speak about them from personal experience and provide referrals when requested.

School and camp announcements may be reserved in a variety of sizes from Classified to Expanded Display, and a small number of banner ads are available. Each is linked to the advertiser’s homepage and email. Larger sizes are given extra exposure by being featured monthly on our opening page. The heads and directors whose programs are represented are invited to contribute articles, which are downloadable and linked to their homepages for additional, long-term publicity.
